When you reach out, we keep whatever you tell us — typically a name, email address, phone number, and sometimes a postal address if you place an order. That information sits on file so we can reply, send what you bought, and answer follow-up questions. Nothing else happens with it. We do not run advertising, we do not feed it to analytics dashboards, and we do not give it to third parties beyond what's strictly required to deliver an order (a shipping carrier, a payment processor). We hold records for as long as the relationship is active plus the period required by tax or accounting rules. After that we delete or anonymise them. You can email us at any time to see what we have, fix what's wrong, or remove yourself entirely from our records.

Granola made in a small kitchen means shared equipment. When you order we take your name, delivery address, and payment details, and if you tell us about a nut or dairy allergy we record it — but we will also tell you honestly whether we can guarantee separation. Usually we cannot, and we would rather say so than take the order.
A recurring order stores your address and your schedule so it can repeat. Payment is handled by our provider; we never hold card numbers. Pausing or cancelling takes one email and takes effect from the next unshipped batch.
We buy Hokkaido oats and other ingredients from named suppliers. Supplier pricing is commercially confidential and we do not publish it, but we will always tell a customer where a specific ingredient came from if they ask.
Batch notes go out only to subscribers who opted in. We do not sell the list, and we do not use it to advertise anything other than our own granola.
Order records follow the statutory bookkeeping period. Allergy notes are held only while a subscription is active and deleted when it ends. Write to hello@cedarvaultline.com about your data.
This is a food shop and orders come from adults. We do not knowingly hold information about anyone under fifteen, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

If a bag arrived wrong or a subscription charged when it should not have, email and it gets fixed the same day. Otherwise write to the address above and you will get a reply within two weeks. You may also raise a matter with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.
We rewrite this page when the range or the subscription mechanics change, and stamp the date at the foot of it. Nothing gets edited quietly. Last revised 27 July 2026.
We sell at a handful of markets each year. Card payments there run through the same provider as the website; cash sales generate no record of you at all.
If you sign up to the batch list at a stall, we take an email address on paper and type it in that evening, then destroy the sheet. It does not go in a drawer for later.
Order data lives with our shop platform and payment provider, both of which handle it under their own published terms. Access on our side is limited to the two people who pack orders.
We do not export the customer list to spreadsheets, and there is no copy of it on a laptop that leaves the kitchen.
