These terms govern your use of this site. All written and visual content is our intellectual property unless someone else is credited. You may not scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions for commercial purposes. Pricing, availability, and product information are provided as accurately as we can manage but may be updated or corrected at any time; the price you see when you confirm an order is the price you pay. We may decline service for any reasonable cause, including out-of-stock items or suspected misuse, and will refund any payment in full. Our liability for defects is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the item itself. Statutory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply. Any disputes are subject to the courts of the country in which we are registered.

Each batch is roasted in small quantities, so clusters, colour, and toast level vary a little between bags. Oats also change with the harvest year. This is what small-batch production looks like; it is not a fault.
Best-before dates assume an unopened bag stored cool and dry. Once opened, granola softens with humidity — Japanese summers are hard on it. Store it sealed and eat it sooner than the date suggests.
We ship within Japan. Bags are packed to survive normal handling but couriers occasionally crush a parcel. Send us a photo and we will replace it, no argument.
If a supplier cannot deliver, we substitute rather than skip a batch, and we say so on the bag and in the batch note. If a substitution matters to you, tell us and we will hold your order instead.
Japanese law applies to these terms. Any dispute goes to the Tokyo District Court at first instance.
We supply a small number of cafés. Wholesale terms are agreed individually and are confidential to each account — we do not publish a trade price list and we do not discuss one account's terms with another.
If the range, the schedule, or the shipping terms change, these terms follow. The revised text and its effective date appear on this page; continuing to use the site after that date means you accept them.
An unenforceable clause does not take the rest down with it. Statutory consumer rights under Japanese law apply regardless of anything written here.

Every bag carries a best-before date calculated from the roast, assuming an unopened bag kept cool and dry. It is a quality date, not a safety date — granola past it is stale rather than unsafe.
Humidity is the enemy. If a bag has been open a while and the clusters have gone soft, ten minutes in a low oven brings them back. That is not a defect and we would rather tell you the trick than replace the bag.
We are responsible for what leaves the kitchen: the recipe, the labelling, the allergen statement, and the condition of the bag when it is handed to the courier.
Once it arrives, storage is yours. We are not liable for granola that softened in an open bag through a humid week, though we will always tell you how to revive it.
